Patent Attorney

Rembrandt is seeking an experienced Patent Attorney to join the team.  You will be part of an elite team that will evaluate whether or not we should take on a patent case on a hybrid or contingency basis.  Responsibilities will include advising clients on the value of a potential claim. This individual will have responsibilities relating to the management of litigation cases and cases in re-exam as well as responsibilities related to current intake, review and due diligence process.  This individual will be actively involved with outside sources including law firms, experts, inventors and various others in order to accomplish the tasks at hand.  The ideal candidate will have:

-10+ years' experience in Patent Litigation and Prosecution

-Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent Office

-First-hand experience briefing Markman issues, preparing infringement contentions and responses to validity contentions   

-Clear understanding of the AIA and recent case law on damages.

-Experience with re-examinations

-Organized, work well with others and be able to effectively communicate technical and legal issues.

-Superior writing skills

-Sound technical background

-Familiarity with inter partes reviews a plus
